Land Overview

New property is leased year-round, and ASC is constantly striving to upgrade quality and lease land in areas most requested by ASC members. Each year ASC reviews every lease and identifies which property lease is suitable for renewal. Extensive advertising , direct mail, and referrals produce ample offers of land for lease; however, we typically lease only 1 property out of every 10 offered to us. Hunting property is leased for the exclusive use of our members and while exceptions are occasionally made for some property owners, they agree to abide by the same rules and make reservations just as our members do. While the majority of ASC members and land is in the Southeastern Michigan area, ASC has leased property in Ohio and Southwestern Michigan. Property maps of all ASC Michigan leases are available to all of our members on the AWA Reservation website.

Each map contains such valuable information as driving instructions, terrain guides, GPS coordinates, special usage instructions, and game ratings. Other important information such as a club FAQ, club rules, and club announcements, a link to the AWA reservation system, and instructions on using the reservation system are posted to the Members Only section of the website.

By using the AWA reservation system, members can make reservations to hunt, make harvest reports, and view harvest reports, 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week. Members who do not have internet access receive a notebook that includes information on every farm or property, including maps. These members can make reservations by calling the toll free reservation line. Info on new properties, harvest reports and other updates are distributed throughout the year.

Out of State Hunting Opportunities
Have you ever dreamt of a trophy deer hunt to Kansas, or chasing bugling bull elk through the Colorado mountains? How about the flush of 100 cackling pheasants in South Dakota or Iowa? Through its affiliation with the AWA, ASC provides its members with access to hundreds of thousands of acres of prime leased hunting property, outside of Michigan. Instead of paying $2,000 to $5,000 for a 5 day hunt in one state, ASC provides its members with nearly 180 days of hunting opportunity in 14 different states at a fraction of the cost of a single guided hunt.
